Artist - Natural Choice in Lighting

To appreciate the workmanship  of a handcrafted product, it helps to understand their process. All the Natural Choice lampshades are individually created by hand. The lamp shade arc is cut from a large sheet of specialty paper, the shade pattern is then applied using one or more of the following techniques; stenciling, hand painting, silk screening, or by hand drawing the pattern. The next step is to cut and pierce the design. They then assemble the shade using different types of lampshade hardware. The last step is "trimming" the shade with accent ribbon. ALL of these stepsare done by hand, they use no machines at any time in the process of making their lampshades.
